Speaking at the launch, President and Chief Executive Officer of Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. Mr. Andrew Koh, said "For the past 30 years Canon has been in Malaysia, we have evolved in terms of innovation in imaging technology and provision of imaging solutions. Our diversification to provide not just consumer solutions, but business related as well, reinforces Canon's positioning as a leader in the imaging solutions industry".
Complementing the interiors of modern day offices, the sleek entry model is geared towards corporate workgroups and departments with basic document and security needs.
Also present at the launch was Mr. Alvin Lee, Head of Business Imaging Solutions (BIS) Division for Canon Marketing (Malaysia). He said, "The imageRUNNER C3020 is designed and specifically targeted towards the rising sector of the start-up communities and SMEs in Malaysia, through innovative functionalities that provide a seamless and efficient workflow between hardware and software."
During the media session, Canon demonstrated the capabilities of the imageRUNNER C3020 via an interactive demonstration that invited guests and media friends were able to experience. The demonstration featured the seamless integration of the device and how the functionalities would benefit its businesses in the workplace.
